Ensure you have read and understood the required prerequisites before continuing. Please refer to the "Must-knows" page in the left menu.
Follow the steps below to configure a Bitget account and enable automated management of your funds.
Log in to your Bitget account.
Click here to access the page for generating new API keys.
Next, click on the Create API Key button, followed by System Generated API Key.
In the Note section, label your key by naming it CryptoTrader, then add CryptoTrader100 for the Passphrase (API token). Keep Read-Write in the Permissions settings:
Check only the Trade box in the Spot section, as well as the Transfer box in the Wallet section:
Add the following three IP addresses, separating them with a comma. Then click on Add:

158.46.138.42
158.46.156.86
Click on Next.
Your API keys have been successfully generated. Before proceeding to the final step located in the left menu of this documentation under the section '3 - Link to CryptoTrader', please make sure to keep the window containing the newly created public and private keys open, or copy them into a temporary file.
It is possible to connect a Bitget sub-account instead of your main account.
This will allow you to host our automated strategy while the main account is used for your own trading operations.
Click here to access the page for generating a new sub-account.
Then click on the Create button, followed by Virtual sub-account.
Name the sub-account CryptoTrader, then click on Create.
In the Sub-account Management section, click on the Transfer button. Transfer the funds you wish to allocate to our automated strategy to your sub-account, then click Confirm:
Click on the API Management button.
Next, click on the Create API Key button, followed by System Generated API Key.
In the Note section, label your key by naming it CryptoTrader, then add CryptoTrader100 for the Passphrase (API token). Keep Read-Write in the Permissions settings:
