How to connect Kucoin with CryptoTrader.app

Follow the steps below to configure a Kucoin arrow-up-rightaccount and enable automated management of your funds.

Before proceeding, ensure that your SPOT wallet contains only USDT.

1. Main Account Synchronization

  1. Log in to your Kucoinarrow-up-right account.

  2. In the Asset Overview tabarrow-up-right, ensure that the funds allocated to our automated strategy are in the trading account and not in the funding account.

  3. Click herearrow-up-right to access the page for generating new API keys.

  4. Next, click on the Create API button.

  5. In the API-based Trading section, label your key by naming it CryptoTrader, then add CryptoTrader#100 for the API's Passphrase:

  1. Check only the Spot Trading box in the API restrictions:

  1. Click on Yes in the IP Restriction, then add the following two IP addresses, separating them with a comma. Then click on Add:

    • 35.195.13.37

    • 89.184.13.176

  1. Click on Next.

Your API keys have been successfully generated. Before proceeding to the final step located in the left menu of this documentation under the section '3 - Link to CryptoTrader', please make sure to keep the window containing the newly created public and private keys open, or copy them into a temporary file.

Synchronizing a Sub-Account

It is possible to connect a Kucoinarrow-up-right sub-account instead of your main account.

This will allow you to host our automated strategy while the main account is used for your own trading operations.

  1. Click herearrow-up-right to access the page for generating a new sub-account.

  2. Then click on the Create Sub account button.

  3. Complete the following steps:

    • Sub-Account Name: CryptoTrader

    • Permissions: Spot

    • Add a login password

    • Account type: General sub-account

    • Click on: Save

  1. Click on Transfer, perform the transfer to your sub-account of the funds you wish to allocate to our automated strategy, then click on Confirm:

  1. Click on Settings, then on View API. On this new page, click on Create API.

  2. In the API-based Trading section, label your key by naming it CryptoTrader, then add CryptoTrader#100 for the API's Passphrase:

  1. Check only the Spot Trading box in the API restrictions:
